Central Carleton Apartment Complex

Central Carleton Apartment Complex offers independent living for seniors. Each time you arrive at the entrance of our building we want you to feel like your home, the place where you feel safe, secure and cared about. That’s what Independent Living at Central Carleton is all about. Not only do we offer many extras such as maintenance and building cleaning services, but also the camaraderie and sense of being part of a community within itself.

Central Carleton Apartment Complex is governed by a 12 member volunteer Board of Directors. The Board is comprised of local volunteers from Hartland and surrounding communities. The organization resulted from the efforts of a concerned group of citizens in Hartland who recognized the need for affordable housing of seniors. With the support of the federal, provincial and municipal governments the project became a reality. The project comprises 10 units and has as a mandate to provide safe and affordable housing to senior clients. The project operates on revenues from resident rent payments and a subsidy from government. An operating agreement with the government spells out the rules and regulations that oversee our operations.

Central Carleton Apartment Complex is a member of the New Brunswick Non-profit Housing Association which is committed to building a strong social housing sector and influencing government housing policies.
